How do I sign up for a study program at Realia Inggris?
Here’s the process: (1) Contact our WhatsApp Admin; (2) Complete the registration form and transfer the pretest deposit; (3) Take a pretest to determine your level and wait for the results; (4) We’ll suggest a learning plan and match you with the best tutor for your needs and schedule; (5) Start your learning journey with Realia Inggris
Do you teach beginners, or do I need to know some English already?
We teach all levels of English proficiency, from absolute beginners (CEFR A1 level) to upper-intermediate learners (CEFR C1 level).
How do you know what level of English I have?
We’ll give you a pretest to assess your current English skills. This helps us place you in the right program and customize your lessons.
Can you help me with a specific kind of English (like conversation, business, or tests)?
Yes, we specialize in different areas of English. We offer programs for conversational English, business English, test preparation (like TOEFL or IELTS), and more.
Can you make a special study plan for me?
Our study plans are tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. We’ll work with you to create a learning plan that’s the perfect fit.
What kinds of things will we use to learn (books, videos, etc.)?
We use a variety of materials like textbooks, videos, online exercises, and more. While we don’t use a specific app, we incorporate many interactive learning resources.
How long will it take for me to get better at English?
With consistent study and practice with our excellent tutors, you can see significant improvement within 2-3 months. However, your progress depends on your starting level, commitment, and learning speed.
Will I get homework?
Yes, we assign homework to reinforce what you learn in lessons and encourage independent learning. You can say No to homework, but you must accept that your learning progress become slower.
How will I know if I am making progress?
We use regular tests and provide detailed feedback from your tutor to track your progress. You’ll clearly see your improvement over time.
What programs do I need for online lessons?
You’ll need Zoom (which is free), a reliable internet connection, and either a computer, laptop, or tablet. A webcam and microphone are also essential for interactive online lessons.
Does my internet need to be fast?
A standard home internet connection is usually sufficient for smooth video lessons. If you frequently experience internet issues, let us know, and we can explore solutions.
About Tutors
What experience do your tutors have?
Our tutors have a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language, with some of our senior tutors having more than 7 years of experience.
Do your tutors speak English as their first language or a native?
No. While our tutors are not native English speakers, they have achieved excellent scores on recognized English proficiency tests like TOEFL (600+) and IELTS (7+) and have been trained on how to become effective and engaging teachers.
Can I try a lesson with a tutor before I choose one?
We don’t offer trial lessons with specific tutors. However, we have sample lesson videos to give you an idea of our teaching style.
How do you make sure the lessons are good?
We ensure quality through: careful tutor recruitment, continuous training in effective teaching and communication methods, and regular review of tutor performance. We also ask our students to give us feedback immediately after they feel that something is not right with our tutors.
About Schedule
When are the tutors available for lessons?
Our tutors are available Monday through Saturday. We offer limited Sunday sessions by special appointment, which may have an additional fee.
Do you offer lessons in the evening?
Yes, but all classes must finish before 21.30 WIB.
How long is each lesson?
Each lesson is around 75 minutes long, providing focused learning time.
What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?
Please contact your teacher directly as soon as possible if you need to cancel. Our cancellation policy will depend on how much notice you provide.
How early do I need to register for a study program?
We recommend booking your lesson 3-7 days in advance. This ensures you get your preferred time slots and helps us match you with a suitable tutor.
About Payment
How much does each lesson cost?
Lesson prices depend on the program you choose. Our standard lessons (75 minutes) start at IDR 110,000. We provide a detailed pricing list for the different programs we offer on their respective webpage.
Do you have special prices for more than one lesson?
Yes! We offer discounts for packages of 10 lessons or more. The more lessons you purchase, the better the per-lesson price gets.
How can I pay (credit card, PayPal, etc.)? Can I pay in installments (cicilan)?
Currently, we accept payment via bank transfer. We’ll provide detailed instructions once you’re ready to book lessons. And yes, you can pay in up to 3x installments, but your first installment must be around 40% of the total price.
Can I get my money back if I need to cancel my study program?
Yes, you may receive a refund under certain circumstances. Please provide us with a written explanation of the cancellation reason, and we’ll review your request.
Do I need to pay for extra learning materials?
No, the lesson price is all-inclusive. We provide all necessary learning materials within your chosen program.

How do I report a complaint or concern about my lessons?
We value your feedback. If you have any concerns about your lessons or experience, please contact your tutor first. If the issue can’t be resolved, you can escalate your complaint by contacting our WhatsApp admin at 0857 4774 6454 or our Founder Ibu Etik 0815 7871 5778.
What information should I include when making a complaint?
Please complete the complaint form below and provide the following information for us to best assist you: Your name and contact details, the name of your tutor, a clear and honest description of your complaint including dates and times of any relevant incidents, and any specific outcomes or resolutions you’re hoping for.
How quickly will my complaint be addressed?
We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 3 business days. We will investigate your complaint thoroughly and provide a resolution as quickly as possible.
What if I’m not happy with the resolution?
While we strive to resolve all complaints, if you remain unsatisfied, we will offer you a refund.

How long have you been teaching English online?
Our company has a long history in English language instruction. We’ve been teaching English offline since 2005. We began offering online lessons via Skype in 2010 and transitioned to Zoom in 2020.
